I took this photo during my last photosession with Elisa. She's one of my favourite subject right now. I used a off camera Godox flash and a plastic with water drops to create the light and the window set.Time
We took this in the afternoon. In studio I can controlo time, light and "weather" as God :DLighting
I usually usa a simple set up: a main light and a reflective wall/panel.Equipment
I shoot with Olympus gears and Godox light system.Inspiration
Elisa is not a real model (i mean a fashion model) so we love to talk about her when shooting. Thant time she said me that she was unhappy for several reason (love, too) and I tried to catch-up this feel in this rainy-style mood.Editing
All photos need post-processing. It must be but do not see. My post is about skin, and color (contrast and lighting) but not so present. I like the natural look of portrait photography. I use Camera Raw for WB and open the shadows or recovery lights than in Photoshop i fix the rest with a personal dodge and burn techique. In my camera bag
I always have two camera body: Olympus OM-D E-M1 X and E-M1 Mark 2 with prime lens 17mm and 45 mm Pro series F/1.2, the 75mm f/1.8 and the 45-150mm f/2./ pro. there are my favourite lens for portraits i use a Godox V860II as flash for dynamic situation, a very good flash!Feedback
I take inspiration from magazines, famous authors but also film and tv series. Look at everything you like and try to replicate. Photography is playing with lights and tools, not only gears ;)
