Somewhere in the dense forests of my native Samara region, in the village of Malaya Kamenka, lives a close friend of my grandmother - Nina Valkova, whom I knew from childhood. She worked all her life as a milkmaid, losing her toes during the distribution of feed at the factory. Gave birth to three sons. Vivacity-that's its distinctive feature. I remember that in the summer of 1999, she took me to a big oak tree in the forest and hugged it, saying: "We strive for a life without difficulties, but oaks grow strong in strong winds. We think we are alone, but the trees hear and understand us.
