To me, this fallen tree looked like it was reaching up to hold the hand of its partner on its deathbed, happy and content after a life well lived, a beautiful end to it's story. Ive probably been watching too much Simon Baxter (or just enough) as really tried to visualise a story and emotion whilst out on my local walks with the camera.
