it was bright sunny day and I was lucky to have the bird on a perch where light was falling nicely on the subject.Equipment
Clicked with Nikon D500, 200-500 mm Lens and the Following exif F-7.1, ISO-2000, SS-1/2500 @360 mmInspiration
As hobbyist photographer I love to spend free time in the lap of nature and was trying to click birds with some activity on perch for quiet some time. I noticed that this Ultramarine Flycatcher is perching beautifully, I immediately focused on this beauty and happy that I could mange few decent shots of bird. "Desperate" is one of the shot, I clicked at that time.Editing
During post processing apart from cropping to have desired frame, Vibrance, Saturation,Brightness and contrast adjustments,I removed a small branch from right hand corner as the same was distracting. In my camera bag
I carry Nikon D500 with 200-500mm and 16-80 mm lenses, my list of equipment is small as I mostly click birds and use 16-80 occasionally to click landscapes for a changeFeedback
To me capturing birds in action requires knowledge about your subject, so that one can have camera settings accordingly. Other things like light, background and perch are not also in your hand while shooting in the wild, one should also have through knowledge of equipment to adopt to the situation quickly
