I was recently blown away by the scenery of the Vestmannaeyjar (Westman Islands) off the south coast of Iceland. I had perfect weather for 7 seven days with landscapes reminiscent of those found in the tropics, certainly not the stereotypical scenes usually associated with Iceland.
