Location
This picture was taken along a secondary road, somewhere in the countryside in the middle of wonderful Andalucia, Spain.Time
Late in the afternoon of a rain-ish early spring day, suddenly the sky clears up and gives way to a clear patch of blue sky over a tiny green hill.Lighting
I hadn't seen the sun for the whole day: when it last came out, it was already low on the horizon, lengthening the shadows of the "socially distanced" trees on the hill.Equipment
My handy Panasonic DMC-FZ1000 was ready to "seize the day". For the details lovers: settings Aperture 40/1 - ISO 125?- Shutter 10/3200 - Focal Length 8934/100?Inspiration
The suddenly crisp air after a dull day, the slowly setting sun casting long shadows, the manicured grassy hill, together called me, asking to squeeze all this within a frame.Editing
The sky was actually getting crisp, though not quite as much as I liked. As you see it in the picture is how I liked it to be.In my camera bag
My bridge camera, plus a skylight filter and a small tripod is all I really need.Feedback
Andalucia is simply wonderful. But if you stick to the Alhambra and the beaches, you miss a lot of the charm. All you have to do is leave the trodden path and explore: you won't be disappointed.
