I wanted to show the reality of having a 30th birthday when covid was raging and buying masks in Russia was hard as hell and so getting a slice of cake in the store was pretty impossible. The shot was taken in natural light with a simple led flashlight to help.Equipment
I used my Canon 7d, a tripod and an led flashlight.Inspiration
I got really upset when I couldn't buy a cake on my birthday because I didn't have a mask(masks where sold out all over the city where I live). The next day I took my bike helmet and went to the store again. I had to have a debate with security and the store manager about going in and getting what I came for.Editing
I deleted most labels from the helmet. Other than that only minor changes were made.In my camera bag
Whatever I might need to take the shots I've thought of. Camera, lenses and flashlight is a must but other than that it can be anything from a tripod to smoke torchesFeedback
There isn't much you need for a shot like this. If you have the imagination- anything is possible. Always use what you have at hand.
