Behind The Lens
Location
This is shot in at my kitchen counter. I bought the cat tail into my home. I found it on ground while my family and I were out for a evening walk around our property.Time
This was taken about lunch time while my kids were taking there after noon nap.Lighting
The lighting on this image is all nature light from my kitchen window.Equipment
This was shot with Nikon D7200, tripod. Lens 50mm using a macro tube also used a glass vase to stand up the cat tail. I also used a piece of black construction paper.Inspiration
Since I am new to Macro photography at that time I was looking for anything with different to shoot. during these hard times and in isolation I have been wanting to learn more about different time of photography then portrait photography. After doing some research I have learn that Marco photography has it challenges with getting closer the subject and some subject are on the move.Editing
the post processing for this image is I add little more contrast to it. I also light up the shadow on it also.In my camera bag
I normally have a in my bag is my D7200 and extra battery and a tripod. I always make sure that I have my 70-200mm lens because you never know when your out and about that you might come across some great opportunities of some wildlife to shoot. I always have 18-140mm on my camera I find it great for taking landscapes or portraits real quick. I recently started carrying my 50mm with a tub for macro photographyFeedback
For macro photography tip is always take your time and don't rush it.
