Location
Long exposure night shots are very difficult, so in winter I am constantly looking for interesting rooms. This time we managed to agree to take pictures in the banquet hall, where I worked as a DJ several times.Time
As usual I photographed at night)Lighting
I am often asked if I use flashes, but no. All light on the model is from the light pattern only. General lighting in the hall is a reflection of street lighting outside.Equipment
Sony a6300, Samyang 8mm 2.8, tripod, flashlight and plastic orange tube.Inspiration
The main inspirations during this period were Eric Paré and Kim Henry.Editing
The shot turned out to be almost perfect and did not require any special complex processing. I just corrected the distortion of the wide angle lens and did the color correction in Adobe Lightroom. In my camera bag
Two cameras Sony A7III and a6300. Lens: Samyang 8mm 2.8, Samyang 16mm 2.0, Samyang 14mm 2.8, Sony 16-50 3.5-5.6, Sony 28-70 3.5-5.6. Two tripods, flashlights and many light brushes.Feedback
Choose a darker spot. A camera on a tripod and a long shutter speed. Take whatever flashlight you have and lightpaint. As the number of attempts increases, you will get better at it. I've been doing night photography for 5 years now.
