My first Epiphyllum of the season, Epi. Anton Gunther, a cheery surprise to wake up to. Combined with Phragmipedium Andean Fire, it's third flower and it will have at least 2 more on this inflorescence for a total of almost 6 months in bloom. The large cactus flowers only last a few days. Both are incredibly iridescent..
The jungle cacti, native to Southern Mexico and South America, grow well outdoors here in San Francisco and the South American lady's slippers are grown indoors.
