Broadway, the 5th and the 6th Avenue (Avenue of the Americas) illuminated, like the arteries of a giant living being, and shot from the top of the Empire State Building after the sunset, during the blue hour, when the City begins to switch on his lights. The cars draw long trails on the camera film, the gold of the pinnacles shimmers as the sky turns to dark purple.. I can say I've traveled to NY to obtain exactly this photo for my collection.. The picture is composed of 5 long exposition HDR (from till 30secs) printed on a big surface reveals an incredible number of invisible small particulars. The native resolution is 34.1Mp (7148x4764) and can be printed without loosing details up to huge dimensions at http:--rmantero.com.

So much thought talent and hard work went into this photograph,, it is just amazing how you had this thought in your mind and took all the steps to create just what you wanted. It's a beautiful shot! Since I myself am from NYC I'm sure I'm a bit partial! Really great I hope you win something big with this one!

Killer shot..How do you get such sharp focus through the whole picture? I can't seem to do it, auto or manual. Maybe it's my lens. Anyway, love this.

This kind of photograph takes a lot of time. Setting up the equipment early, making sure everything is setup correctly, taking the correct photographs, and then later, combining the exposures to get the correct effect. Congrats on a job well done.

Superb and well thought of image. The pains you took in shooting this can well be imagined. Tripods are not allowed at Empire State bldg if I am not mistaken. Where did you support the camera?
