Sadly today we lost our lovely boy Alfie to Cancer. He was 13 years old and a lovely little dog that would come with me on many of my walks around the countryside here in Shropshire, This image of him is one of my favorites image of him when he was sitting amongst the Bluebells at Aqualate Mere our local nature reserve where he used to enjoy many of his walks

I have had two westies, one was Webster Mctavish and the last one was Mr. Bentley and sadly both were the same age as yours when they passed on. I miss them both and I know that you are sad as well. Both were super boys as I am sure yours was and we have lots of stories we could share.

Sorry for your loss. It's always hard to say goodbye to a friend that has stayed by our side, unconditionally. I hope that the memory of Alfie lives on for you a very long time.
