Sadly an Image which we can no longer see, the Ironbridge Power Station Cooling Towers stood overlooking the Ironbridge gorge for more then 60 years. The power station was decommissioned in 2003 because it used coal and wasn't worth keeping open. Us Shropshireans was hoping that the towers would be left standing but it wasn't to be and in November last year they was pulled down so that the site can be cleared for housing
