It was late morning after the rain stopped!Lighting
It had just rained and was overcast with interesting clouds but what made my image was the way the sage stood out because of it being so wet! It was the perfect leading line to the Butte!Equipment
Canon 5D and Canon 17-40L handheldInspiration
The rich wet soil and sage along with the wonderful overcast sky!Editing
Not much was required for this image except some tweeking of the contrast and structure boost! In my camera bag

Don't let the rain deter you from landscape photography! Some of my best shots are in or after the rain! Monument Valley is a special place rain or shine!
