Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo at Oakland Cemetery in Atlanta, Georgia, USA.

Time

I took this photo around 11:00 a.m. on a winter day.

Lighting

It was a bit glarey, but the iris stood out from the shadows into the morning light.

Equipment

I used a Canon 70D, Sigma 17-50mm lens with a UV filter, no flash, handheld.

Inspiration

I was inspired by the beauty of the iris blooming in mid-February, and its resilience against the cold weather.

Editing

I cropped and saturated the image using Adobe Lightroom.

In my camera bag

For this outing, in addition to the camera and lens I used, I brought a Canon 50mm macro lens for close-up shots.

Feedback
