Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was taken in a park in Kahramanmaras, the city where I study.

Time

It was afternoon and the wheather was cloudy.

Lighting

The cloudy weather forced me to use an extra light and I used the light of my phone.

Equipment

I shot this photo with a Canon EOS 200D camera and with Canon 100mm macro f2.8 lens.

Inspiration

One autumn evening, I was sitting in the grass to rest, and a ladybug caught my attention. it looked so beautiful on the lawn and I wanted to immortalize that moment. I was so lucky that my camera was with me.

Editing

Only some color and contrast adjustments on Lightroom.

In my camera bag

I usually have Canon 100mm f2.8 macro lens in my bag. Also, sometimes I have canon 50mm f1.8 and tripod with me for some spesific situations. In addition to these, I have one vintage lens(Helios 44-M 58mm f2.0) that I love to use.

Feedback

Sometimes there are wonderful moments we missed, so, I think, focusing on details and being patient is the key. If I hadn't been sitting in that grass, I wouldn't have seen this moment so sometimes we just have to focus.
