Whitby's iconic East Pier has finally got its bridge back. The original East Pier footbridge was removed in 2001 because of damage caused by the sea but just a couple of days ago a new footbridge was finally opened to the public, allowing access for the first time in almost 20 years. It's mad to think that hardly anyone one has stepped foot on this in all that time...
