I was amaze of this beauty especially during the winter time. So one day I drove to Niagara falls before the sun rise. So that I can capture the light of the cabin. The falls is lighted up in the evening and effect of the picture is different during the night.Lighting
I used an ND filter 6stop for this shot because when I arrived is a bright already so I used ND filter. The lighting is very important for this shoot because the cabin is lighted up and if you arrived late and sun is up already you will get this effect.Equipment
For landscape i used a wide angle lens and zoom lens. For particular shoot I used 70-200m, f/2.8 Nikon Lens, a tripod, ND filter 6stop. I used Nikon Z7 camera for this shoot.Inspiration
I am inspired to take photo during the winter especially before the sunrise to capture different effects of this falls especially the cabin that gives a nice effect to the falls. At day time and during the night time this falls has different effects. At night the falls is lighted up with changing color of lights. And during the day time the cabin no effect because is not lighted up.Editing
I used lightroom and photoshop for post-processing. I adjusted the color a bit. Lighted up a bit and a bit saturation of the color.In my camera bag
For Landscape I always have the a wide angle lens(16-35mm, 24-70mm and zoom lens 70-200 and macro lens 105mm. Tripod, ND filters. Extra battery. Cleaning tools for Camera. Camera protection for rain and dust.Feedback
Taking this kind of photo need patience and dedication because you have to wake up early if you want to capture something like this. Especially for Landscape photography you have to explore other places to capture some unique angles, composition. If you don't explore other places you can't get some unique and interesting composition. And before you arrive to that place you already plan what type of shoot that you are going to take you always plan ahead of time.
