Behind The Lens

Location
The image was taken during a trip to NYC in March of 2020 just before the COVID lockdown. This building is in lower Manhatten at 33 Thomas Street.
Time
The image looks to be taken at night but in reality, it was taken in the early afternoon.
Lighting
The image was taken with natural light. I then used Photoshop to remove all color and create a dark feel to it.
Equipment
Shot handheld with a Nikon Z6 and Nikkor 24-70mm F2.8 lens
Inspiration
I just love architecture photography. I've seen this building in other images but never using this perspective and technique.
Editing
Yes, used photoshop techniques I learned from Scott Kelby on KelbyOne to give it a dark feel. This technique works well for architecture photos.
In my camera bag
Nikon Z6, 24-70 F2.8, 70-200 F2.8, SB900. Occasionally I will also carry my Sigma 10-20mm and my Nikkor 105mm F2.8 Macro.
Feedback
Just keep shooting and experimenting. Join KelbyOne to learn how to do this technique. It's actually fairly simple and can lead to great images.
