A sick fallow deer in the Amsterdamse Waterleiding duinen.
A test day with the Nikon AFS 200-500 f-5.6E VR ED. At the end of the day this lens was added to my collection ;) I never regretted that decision and I'm using it now for 1 year and a half.

The Amsterdamse Waterleidingduinen (AWD) (3400 ha) is one of the most beautiful nature areas in The Netherlands. The habitat of the the widest dunes of Holland - with lakes, flows, forests, meadows, shrubs and undergrowth - consists a.o. of fallow deers, roe deers, foxes, horses, cows and cormorants.

Shot with the Nikons D800 and 200-500 f-5.6E VR ED at 500 mm (about 650 mm after crop FF-eq) out of the hand (VR=on).
