I love deer, and when I saw this statue on the gates of Kensington Gardens, London, I couldn't resist clicking away my camera! There are at least two hinds and calves, but this Mum and Baby are the nicer looking pair to me. There's a lot to see in London and perhaps the locals don't even notice these statues, but I find they are an intrinsic, delightful presence.
Perhaps it is just me, but I rather like to think I saw a special 'gold nugget' of this city that day...
