I walked my daughter to the school bus stop, and as I turned to go home, I saw that our footprints in the snow were strikingly different -- her feet pointed straight forward, mine kick out to the sides. I walked home along my footprints, stepping carefully to form a zig-zag pattern, and stopping occasionally to look back and take pictures.
