Behind The Lens

Location

this picture was taken in the beautiful Carpathians within the forest of a small village where I was born.

Time

I took this photo in the afternoon a few hours before sunset.

Lighting

I did not use separate lighting or a soft box or flash. the late afternoon warm light effect was perfect.

Equipment

i shot this image with a canon 1200d and used a canon EF 70-300mm f / 4-5.6 lens. I didn't need a tripod.

Inspiration

the beautiful and long-lasting autumn. soft warmth and serenity. the colors of the leaves of the trees were beautiful, though that was not the main theme. I wanted to make a little dramatic impact.

Editing

the post work was done in adobe lightroom. changing the colors and lights a bit made the picture a little more dramatic.

In my camera bag

a canon 1200d, 2 batteries, 3 sd card, a canon EF 70-300mm f / 4-5.6 lens and a Canon 18-55 / F3.5-5.6 EF-S lens. some light filters and a tipod.
