Location

This photo was take at havenstreet Falconry on the Isle of Wight. The kite was sitting on a branch in the shade of the trees of their enclosure.

Time

It was in the middle of a glorious hot summer day around 13:00 UK time. Standing in the shaded area is releaf from the heat of the sun.

Lighting

The shaded light was nice & defused.

Equipment

I used my nikon D750 & tamron 150-600mm G2, f8 & 1/250 shutter spern

Inspiration

I love kites in general so being able to photograph them so close, I couldn't refuse the opportunity.

Editing

I used a curves adjustment to bring some contrast & to make it pop a bit more, Vibrance adjustment, then using a fill layer made a vignette.

In my camera bag

I usually carry my nikon D750 & D7100 bodies, tamron 150-600mm G2 & 15-30mm 2.8, nikkor 50 mm prime. Spare batteries, trigger system & cleaning gear.
