Snow is not always easy to shoot in. Congrats on this beauty of shot!

I love the simplicity - she is a really good looking normal girl just out in snow

Location
The photo was taken outside my flat in London. Back then, my best friend (the subject in the photograph) and I were living together.Time
We were going out to meet our friends in central London. It was snowing so much the trains were either delayed or cancel, it was somewhere in the early afternoon.Lighting
Natural light was more than enough for this shot.Equipment
This was shot on a Nikon camera, using a 70-300 Tamron lens. No tripod or flash were used while shooting.Inspiration
We were heading to the train station and it was snowing so heavily. I took my camera out trying to capture all the white around me. My best friend was just smiling and contemplating the snow, so I called her and told her to turn around so I could take a photo of her. Previously she just wrapped her scarf around her head to cover her hair. It is a genuine portrait and brings lots of memories back.Editing
I corrected the brightness with photoshop and added a layer of screen blended paint lightIn my camera bag
I usually carry with me just my camera and a 18-55 mm lens and a 70-300 mm one. I do not have a range of types of equipment, so I try to make the best out of it of what I have.Feedback
This shot was a genuine one and not a staged one. The only advice I have is to bring your camera with you at all time. There so much beauty out there you can photograph, it's insane. You do not need a very expensive camera to shoot, just keep your eyes open and you will know where the right moment is. Just stay true to yourself.
