Behind The Lens

Location

Masaai Mara in December 2019.

Time

Picture was taken late afternoon with lazy moments spent with a tower of giraffe in some bushes.

Lighting

We had rain the whole day on and off and the dark skies and little light poking through the low clouds was amazing.

Equipment

D500 with Tamron 150-500.

Inspiration

The frame created by the trees made this ideal for the portrait.

Editing

Lightroom exposure, white balance and cropped slightly.

In my camera bag

I use whatever i can rent on Safari in Africa. I shoot with Sony, Nikon and DJI mostly.
