Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in Cambridge, Massachusetts. It was a spur of the moment thing. The model was in fact the makeup artist of the shoot that was scheduled, but was postponed.

Time

The shoot took awhile. This particular picture was shot around noon.

Lighting

The light was all natural. We had the sunlight coming in through the tall windows of the hotel we used for shooting.

Equipment

Used my Canon 6d with my 50mm lenses. I almost always shoot boudoir with my 35mm or my 50mm lenses.

Inspiration

Doe was relaxed and sitting there as if she had just woken up. It was a natural, unprepared or unscheduled moment and pose.

Editing

I turned the picture B&W in raw and then added some light silver tones.

In my camera bag

My Canon 6d Camera and tons of lenses. Also always carry additional memory cards. You never ever know when you might need additional storage room.

Feedback

Be there in the moment. Don't look or try too hard. It will most definitely happen, if you just shoot without anxiety.
