Seen tucked away on a blank white wall by a restaurant in Florence, Italy. Not sure about the age of the picture, as it was above my reach. However, the 'frame' and concrete shelf beneath it are likely 100s of years old, probably medieval, as is the lamp. From a distance, I thought it was a Madonna portrait. Upon getting home and enlarging it, I realized it is the sacred heart of Christ. I feel this little gem is often missed by the many visitors who walk by it every day.
