I know this tree from my youth, I used to play a lot in these hills. I have got sweet memories about this special tree, I have climbed in it and have kissed my first sweet love there... Now, some 40 years later I was walking with my old mother, bringing up old memories when we passed this special place. I had to make a photo of the tree, overgrown with plants. The wonderful hills with the big old trees are how I remember the place I come from.Editing
I did some post-processing in Lightroom to enhance some details and light to the scene.In my camera bag
I don't have any equipment in my bag (yet) I am a beginning photographer and I am learning to use a camera, to look for the good light, composition and point of view. One day when I know how to use and set the camera well enough, I will start to think about a bag filled with technical things instead of the need to understand...Feedback
If you look at a subject to photograph, you have to try to realise what you want to achieve, Try to find the good light, the right point of view and the best composition. Try to find that "extra" that creates a story, a fantasy. And most of all, take more shots with slightly different settings so you can choose the best one, once you got home and opened your laptop, the magic of today's world begins... I always crop it later into the size and composition I like best. Crop the photo in different ways, so you can choose the best one the next day when you can have a fresh look at them!day when you can have a fresh look at them!
