On my way down to Liberty Park from Jersey City I walked along Jersey Avenue and across the Ethel Pesin Liberty Footbridge. It's a boggy and messy area as the avenue is being extended over a new bridge being built to join Liberty Park. Sometimes when you least expect it there's a scene that appeals. I see two old boats, shaggy timbers, messy grass and mud along with the magnificence of lower Manhattan just sitting in the background. Of course One World Tower stands proudly, surveying all beneath.

Thanks Mark, it's amazing what you see when you wander off the main track! No unfortunately I couldn't get close because of the bridge building...may have been a tad hazardous and very muddy! :)
