Location
The photo was taken in Nature Park ‘Hutovo Blato’ near the city of Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina. It was taken during autumn days when there is no crowd around.Time
The photo is a result of one of the many spontaneous mini adventures I like to take my friends to. My friend and I wanted to visti a completely different location, in Croatia, but we forgot documentation, so this was our stop, which we don’t regret, as it looked so lovely. The exact time of the photo is right after 3 o’clock, few minutes before rain and storm started.Lighting
The lighting was nearly perfect for the photo to be taken, as there was no sunlight to make shadows but the sky was bright enough, with a lot of white clouds. The color of her eyes really pops out on this kind of light.Equipment
This was shot on Canon 6D, with sigma art 35mm f 1.4 lens, which is my favorite lens. I did not use any other equipment.Inspiration
There was no specific inspiration for this shot, it was just the spontaneity in the current moment. We saw the flowers nearby, took some of them, realised it matches her hair color, and just went on experimenting until we managed to get this shot. It was a bit challenging because of the strong wind.Editing
In my post-production process, usually I use only Lightroom for most of my photos in order to obtain colours that I want but without changing natural colours too much. Same for this shoot, I used only Lightroom to enhance the colours. In my camera bag
I always have my Canon 6D camera with sigma art 35 mm 1.4 lens attached. I bring this combination on all my adventures.Feedback
Seize the moment, sometimes a perfect moment trumps out days of planning. Experiment with what you got and try to use the tools at your disposal. Have the narrative to it, while you combine, think of what you want to show and what can it say.
