4 of 6 weekends lead me to some pretty amazing places in Southern Utah’s desert country.

This year has been a year like no other. Even though there’s been relentless storms one after another, which has added difficulty in backcountry travel with muddy, washed out roads and extra weatherproofing to equipment, it has been an absolute joy and treat to see the desert flourishing with life. The soil is richer and deeper in color. The plant life has sprung up in more varieties and species I’ve ever seen. The density and vibrance of wildflowers and cactus blooms has all lead to an extraordinarily exciting feeling as I’m out exploring.⁣
⁣
Shooting sunrises and sunsets on the edge of storms, and in-between storm cells has led to many unexpected, phenomenal skies. This year has no doubt been one for the record books. Hope you’ll all able to get out and #AdventureResponsibly.
