Nice to find you over here as well. I love the honesty of this portrait.

Location
This photograph was taken last Spring in the Botanical Garden from Cluj-Napoca, Romania. It was part of a photoshoot for a friend who was graduating high school and I caught this side of her in a moment when she was not paying attention, so it's pretty much a candid shot. She's a gentle innocent soul, with a kind hard but very mature for her age. I felt that this particular shot seem to describe her inner life, her innocent side that is hidden under the mature appearance of her. She chose it to be printed on her graduation album since she felt herself that the picture says more than words could have done it.Time
It was noon, 1PM, shot without any light or tools, just the lense, natural light and I used the shadow created by the bloomed tree she was staying under.Lighting
O only used natural lightEquipment
Body Nikon D610 together with my beloved Tamron 70-200 f2.8 G2Inspiration
Her innocent allure inspired me to catch her on moments when she wasn't paying attention, so she was 100% comfortable and being herselfEditing
I did some small adjustments in Lightroom and I used frequency separation for skin retouching. In my camera bag

Try to shoot people as they are, portraits should represent a state of mind or spirit of that person or their character, try to focus on those aspects.
