An Australian Native Plant, Orange Banksia. We have many Banksia trees in our back yard gardens. They attract the honey eater birds. The yellow tailed black cockatoos like to munch and destroy the spent cones. I can't get close enough to the cockatoos to get a photo because the ones that visit us are way too timid.

The flowers are an amazing feel to touch as they are bendy and very robust.
