2 baby loons swimming with parents. One sleeps on mom's back.

A barred owl on a tree one early fall am. It stayed and watched the ground for it lunch. Then it flew away quietly into the trees. So beautiful.

Behind The Lens

Location

I was out in the woods and looked up. it was so huge i had to get a closer look.

Time

in the afternoon soft natural light.

Lighting

i had to get up close and personal to get the photo.

Equipment

I used my cell phone.

Inspiration

i love natures colorful mushrooms in the woods. I love to find them like a scavenger hunt on every adventure.

Editing

nothing used. cropped a little.

In my camera bag

i bring a tripod and extra batteries.
