I was out to get some pictures in the mountains. This shot was taken at about 10,000 foot elevation. The clouds were patchy and racing by at a good 30 miles and hour. It was very cold so I would get out of my car, take a few shots and get back inside where the heater was roaring. At least half the trees up there have been killed by bark bettles. I found this shot where I was looking across a space were most of the trees are still alive Here I was in a clear patch with another cloud-fog coming towards me. It is one of my favorite shots for the day.
