Behind The Lens

Location

This shot was taken on our trip to Zanzibar. We were staying at the most stunning Melia resort with a view to die for... especially the sunsets over the jetty. Heaven on Earth indeed ! Just what’s needed to end a beautiful leisurely day

Time

Just walking around the hotel one evening I was blown away by the most beautiful views of dark clouds and the sun setting behind them.

Lighting

A bit of gold behind the dark dense clouds gave away the sun completely. It was a stunning blue hour moment !

Equipment

I was using my canon 5d mk 4.

Inspiration

It’s amazing how sunlight spreads joy in our days and I just felt that despite the dense dark cloud cover the sun still was spreading gold and making us feel so warm and comforted... such is its magic! I totally wanted to keep this moment saved for life.

Editing

A tab bit of brightness, exposure adjustments did the trick for me.
