Sweet shot.

Behind The Lens

Location

Lanseria Airport, South Africa

Time

Around about noon.

Lighting

It's quite tricky to get a great cockpit shot as it's a very tight space aswell as there is a huge exposure different between the inside of the cockpit and the outside, so to get them both exposed correctly I use AE bracketing and merged the 3 photos together in Lightroom

Equipment

Canon 800D with an 18-55 IS STM f4-5.6

Inspiration

I am a passionate aviation enthusiast.

Editing

Yes, as mentioned before I merged 3 photos together for an HDR photo.

In my camera bag

Canon 800D, Canon 18-55 IS STM f4-5.6, Canon 70-300 IS nano USM, vintage Asahi-Pentax-135mm F2.5 prime and Vintage Asahi-Pentax 50mm F1.4

Feedback

One need to use AE bracketing otherwise the highlights will be blown out
