Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken at my home in Arkansas. I am studying to get my BA in digital photography so I try to practice with my camera as much as I can.

Time

I had just sat my kids down for lunch and decided it would be a great time to go out with my camera and walk around my house and randomly take photos of things that caught my eye.

Lighting

Even though it was I bright summer day I still decided to use my flash and loved the out come from it.

Equipment

I used my canon eos rebel t7 with the flash and a standard lens.

Inspiration

I wanted to catch this moment because with 2 kids I don't get much time to notice the beauty in the small things.

Editing

I did adjust the light and color in this photo to make every thing stand out more.

In my camera bag

I don't have a bag, I use the pockets of my pants but I'll carry my camera with a lens attached around my neck and that's about it I just follow my kids around or I go for walks. I've found the less I carry the easier it is for me to focus on what I want to capture.

Feedback

Don't rush when you want that perfect photo. Take your time to find it. But the best advice would be to continuously take several photos at once so you can have a better chance of getting the perfect shot.
