great close up - thanks for entering my challenge - best of luck

Behind The Lens

Location
FaFa Island near Tongapatu, Tonga.
Time
This was two hours before sunset when they begin to wake for the night's flying for food.
Lighting
It is a nice daylight shot that I didn't need to do much with.
Equipment
Sony RX10IV with zoom. No flash needed. No filter.
Inspiration
I had heard that there was a flying fox tree on the island and I had never seen one before and was intrigued. They are much cuter than I thought. I am glad they only eat plants and fruit!
Editing
When I PP, i usually use basics. I don't like to go overboard. I just clean it up a bit, clarity and basic sliders.
In my camera bag
These days I am shooting only with Sony. My bridge camera was what I used here since it is a great little all-around camera with a 35-600mm zoom. I use Sony A6300 with an Ikelite housing for underwater and I have a Sony A7riii that I just purchased.
Feedback
I stood right under this lil guy. I tried other angles but ultimately liked this one the best.
