Behind The Lens

Location
I made the photo in East Tennessee near a TVA dam
Time
Middle of the day
Lighting
The weather was mild and overcast so there were no shadows
Equipment
Nikon D7100 with a Tamron 160-600 mm lens . handheld
Inspiration
I like to take bird pictures and it was one I didn't have.
Editing
Good question. I guess there was some cropping
In my camera bag
Nikon D810 with a Nikon 28-300 Nikon D500 with a Tamron 160-600
Feedback
I like the D500 and the Tamron lens for birding the quality is mostly good. The gear is heavy so a mono pod is good. I seldom use a tripod for birding it is too bulky but it can be done. Small birds are very flighty and hopping around . Handheld can be done with this equipment but I am almost 75 years old and shaky so I need some assistances .
