The photo was taken on one of my trips to South Tahoe. I’m self grown photographer with yers of experience in landscape and nature photography using film and digital cameras.Time
This photo was taken at the day time. I was driving by the lake and clouds were charming and caught my attention, so I parked my car and spend some quality time enjoying the views and taking photos. This is the one of them.Lighting
The weather was cloudy and the lighting was soft. The views were dramatic. I want to show the water and clouds beautiful reflection of the weather condition.Equipment
I used mirrorless camera Sony a7rii, Sony lens 28/f2.8, hand handed.Inspiration
I traveled around Tahoe aria after skiing and was passing by the lake. The weather was so cloudy with lots of low clouds and I decided to stop and take some photos. This photo I like the most.Editing
I used Adobe Lightroom to process this photo. It was a RAW file and I did all required standard adjustments plus I used color toning.In my camera bag
Usually I have 2 Sony cameras, one camera has attached zoom lens 55-210mm,and second camera has wide angle fixed 28/f2.8 mm lens. This setup covers all my photography needs for travels.Feedback
I’m planning almost all my photography shoots, but this one was unexpected and I enjoyed every minute of it. My recommendation is look around and if you like something be ready to take your camera and shoot. Then it comes to post processing it required knowledge of composition and knowledge of the used tools, and of corse your personal vision
