"Her eyes reveal."

Today I took some time for me, out of all the editing, the motherhood, the recovery, the worry, and I listened to my music as I always do, and something struck me, I instinctively took out my lenses, and I began the series of images that I will slowly start to reveal.

I don’t share my story because I am dwelling, or holding on. I am sharing this story because I believe that EVERY child in care deserves to have their story shared, and told, I believe every child should have rights, and equal opportunity to rise far above the crumbling foundation they came from. My story does become that- I like to hope. My story is here to empower other children, that YOU can become more than the trauma, neglect, stolen childhoods you have come from. You can be your own roots, You can fly as high as you are capable. Never let pain, or heartache set you off course, you have a mission, you have a purpose, fly, no matter how many times they try to cage you.

You have proven time and time again your strength and courage to break free, never stop. EVER
