Great shot, it would be interesting to see a version with the bottom third cropped out

Hi, great photo Just a question, is this app legit or is Viewbug just taking our money and no one really wins anything?

Location
This photo was taken in my studio in Edinburgh.Time
This was a morning shoot but this had little impact on the image as it was in a controlled studio.Lighting
I really wanted to capture the look of a painting based on the Dutch Masters so a large 120cm octabox was feathered to get the right kind of soft light.Equipment
This was shot on a Canon 6D with a 70-200mm lens. I used one Bowens XMT500 with a 120cm Octabox to light the image.Inspiration
I'm a big fan of renaissance art and wanted to create a photo that could mimic the look of a renaissance painting.Editing
The main post processing edits were changes to the white balance and vibrance to create the 'painterly' look. There was also my usual frequency separation workflow and tweaks to the curves. In my camera bag
Canon 6d, Canon 70-200mm 2.8 lens, Sigma 50mm 1.4 lens, 3 Bowens XMT500s and a small collection of modifiersFeedback
The main thing I learned during this shoot was the importance of feathering the light, rather than directly pointing a light source at the subject. This helps create a much more natural 'window light' look.
