A view of Valletta from Citta Vittoriosa (Birgu) across the Great Harbour. The ropes on the bastions are holding the recently restored (August 2019) ship mast of HMS St. Angelo (the only shipmast standing in Malta today). Photo taken during rare occasion when upper level of fort St. Angelo is open to the public. This area is usually restricted, being still owned by the Knights of the Order of St. John.
