This was inspired by a beautiful elderly woman, almost nun-like I seen walking late last summer. She was beautiful and seemed so sorrowful. Months later I photographed a beautiful old cemetery. I thought the 2 of them would fit nicely together.

Beautiful mother barred owl

My beloved cat Trinity (it's her birthday today) playing with her feather friend.

From December 2018 until February 2019 I spent 300 hours looking for a great gray owl. In late February I found one 30 minutes from where I live.

My frozen fingers were only able to capture these 2 shots of this feathered goddess taking flight.

I froze my but off in crazy cold temps waiting for this beautiful snowy owl to take flight and it was worth it.
