I took the photo at a restaurant in my city in Surabaya, Indonesia. My friend ordered it, but it was not immediately eaten, he asked me to take the picture first because it was an unusual food we eat everyday.Time
I took the photo last year, precisely on August 27, 2019. I remember because the food like in the photo was a light meal in my country. Because we used to eat with rice.Lighting
I am a photographer who does not always or often use certain lighting with the help of light bulbs. All photos mostly use natural light, so I rarely take photos at night. I have the opinion that natural light is more attractive, and has a very natural feel.Equipment
That day happened to be just a zoom lens, a Canon EF lens 70-200mm F2.8 and a Canon EOS R camera with the adapter. Because it cannot be taken from a short distance, so I took it from a little distance away, so I took this picture through a glass window, so the glass effect was seen on the edges.Inspiration
I only often see Pinterest pages and some photos of food on the internet, this photo I took with improvement, because I'm not a food photographer.Editing
Not much I do for post processing, just adjusting the light darkness of the photos in the Photoshop CS6 application program and Photoscape, so that it looks slanted, more natural and pleasing to the eye.In my camera bag
Only a Canon EOS R camera and a Canon RF 35mm F1.8 IS STM Macro Lens, this is in my opinion standard because it's enough for me to suddenly take street photography. And of course the battery and memory card.Feedback
My advice, take a photo based on the moment or event, because it will not be repeated and is very valuable for photographers. Make as natural as possible the results of the photo so that it can illustrate the authenticity of the photo, and the last one always thinks to look beautiful, even if taken naturally.
