The photo was take in Long Beach, Ca. The vessel in the picture is famous Queen Marry, which is permanently station in the port.Time
I woke up at 4 in the morning and had to drive about 35 minutes to get to the spot.Lighting
I wanted to capture Queen Mary with the sunrise in the backround. The morning was partly cloudy, and I was getting disappointed. Little before the sun came up, the clouds have gone for the most of the picture. On the other side of the boat I was getting yellow street lights, which gave a nice light for reflection in the water.Equipment
The shot was thaken with Nikon D850, 14-24 Nikkor lens on a tripod.Inspiration
I have seen nice pictures of the Queen Mary boat. I was trying to put my own take on it. I have taken a lot of pictures from different angels and from totaly dark to after the sun has come up.Editing
I don't do a lot of post processing. Usualy I just do little adjustment in Lightroom. I want the picture to ba as close to what I'm seeing as possible. In my camera bag
I don't have a lot of equipment, so this will be short. Main thing is my camera, Nikon D850. The 3 lenses are all Nikkor, first is 14-24mm wide angle, second 24-70mm, and prime 50mm. GOBE ND filters, and no-name tripod.Feedback
Just go out and take pictures, enjoy your self.
