I did a food photography session for a Peruvian restaurant in the afternoon. It was a session of 10 photographs where I proposed to make 3 floating photos.Lighting
My specialty is food photography. The lighting I use is generally 45º from behind to highlight the volume of the food. On the front I use a white bouncer to subtract the dark parts a bit. I also use some black blockers to control the light on the back of the image.Equipment

For floating photos I am inspired by the elements of the plate. The goal is to achieve an image where people see it and want to know how that image was made.Editing
The post processed was done in photoshop through layers. The key is to build the image in the mind before taking it to know what will be achieved and how it will be edited.In my camera bag
My briefcase usually has my camera, my 100mm and 50mm lens, two flashes, two batteries, triggers and my laptop.Feedback
My advice to achieve this type of images is to study a lot the composition, the law of thirds and above all, create the image in our mind before achieving it, even if you can make a sketch it would be ideal.
