Amazing photo!!
See all

Behind The Lens

Location

Mono lake California

Time

Middle of the night ????. Roughy midnight

Lighting

Starlight, does wonders.

Equipment

Nikon D850 - tamron 15-30, induro Tripod

Inspiration

I wanted to catch the strange formations here with the milkyway over them and maybe a shooting star during the meteor shower.

Editing

Yes. Dodging and burning, contrast, stacking, tracked single and untracked single taken back to back and blended ????

In my camera bag

Nikon D850 - Tamron 15-30, tripod and batteries

Feedback

Be sure to take time to focus your shots carefully when shooting at night, then try to stack or track whenever possible. This gives you a lot of extra detail and much cleaner images.
